Questions parents often ask
Quick answers before you add the set to your cart.
What are the instruments made of?
Natural wood finished with water-based paint, with smooth edges. The tambourine has metal jingles and the wind chime has clear tubes hung on cords, so we recommend playing together and supervising your little one at all times.
Is it right for my child?
Recommended for ages 18 months and up. Every child is different, so please check the product details and use your own judgment. The set includes small parts such as mallets, jingles and a cord-hung wind chime, so it is best used with an adult nearby. If you're unsure, write to us and we'll gladly help you decide.
Does it need batteries?
No. Every instrument is acoustic — no batteries, no lights and no screens. The sound comes from your child's own hands.
How loud is it?
All instruments are acoustic, so the volume depends on how enthusiastically your little one plays. The wind chime and kalimba are soft and gentle; the tambourine and egg shaker are lively.
What's included in the complete set?
A bee xylophone with two mallets, a tambourine, a wind chime, an egg shaker, a mini kalimba and an illustrated instruction card.
How do I clean the instruments?
Wipe them gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Please keep the wooden parts away from prolonged moisture.
Is it a good gift?
We think so — a first set of instruments is a lovely present for a birthday, the holidays or just because. It's screen-free and the whole family can play with it.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free. Delivery takes 10-15 business days to the United States and 15-20 business days to Canada. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order is on its way.
